Contanda is proud of the relationships and connections we’ve made in Grays Harbor County. We are committed to this community’s future, and dedicated to hiring locally. As responsible corporate citizens, Contanda partners with local organizations, buys from local businesses, and advocate for local interests.
We have close ties in every location where we do business because our success is dependent upon the success of these communities. We are privileged to be a part of the unique Grays Harbor area, and we are engaged in an ongoing partnership with the Port of Grays Harbor and other local businesses to resolve rail and traffic flow challenges. The Port is leading research on options that would alleviate rail congestion, as well as the potential for federal infrastructure funding.
We’ve lived and worked here since 2009. Like our neighbors and friends, Contanda employees and their families have a vested interest in keeping our community safe and contributing to its healthy economic growth. The Contanda expansion will mean increased revenue to the county for funding schools, parks, and hospitals. We will also be able to hire more local workers and contract with more local businesses. We are excited about bringing added economic and social benefits to Grays Harbor County.
